Ancient vessel were found in the Mush region (Մուշ/մշուշ) of ancient Armenia (Armenia-Major). Such an important and strategic location throughout history that became heavily populated and was always a major Armenian city for thousands of years.
The area of Mush has dozens of castles and temple ruins, and also many ancient Armenian Churches such as the Arakelots Monastery, Surb Marineh Church, and Surb Karapet Monastery most of which are now in ruins.
