The documentary “Rock Paintingsof Syunik” by Hamlet Martiorsyan was shot in Syunik, in the crater of Mount Tskuk (3300 meters).
In the film, the author presents preliminary results of the interpretation of rock-engraved characters from the Upper Paleolithic. These petroglyphs have been carved out in no later than 13th millennium BC. The ideological system of writing transmitted in these ancient paintings corresponds to the Armenian language.
