Rock paintings found in Kars Province, Historical Armenia, shed new light on the history of the ancient world. One of the paintings (first photo below) contains two horses and two mountain goats. Another painting (second photo) depicts 5 goats.
These rock paintings are dated to the Bronze Age. Works are underway to find data that will reveal the history of the rock drawings and their relationship with Historical Armenia.
The location of these drawings is kept secret since someone has attempted to destroy them via illegal excavation and vandalism.
