Independence Is A Duty – Garegin Nzhdeh

“Independence and an independent Fatherland are, first of all, a duty and only then a right, and nations that avoid fulfilling their duty lose the right to moral existence.

A nation that relies on anything except its own strength does not deserve an independent homeland and a free life.

Do not expect your homeland from someone else or from fate if you are not patriotic enough to defend your homeland with your blood.”

Lusine Azaryan from Gurgen Hajakyan

P.S. It seems to me that in addition to all existing dictionaries, there should also be a separate Nzhdeh dictionary. Garegin Nzhdeh, as a true genius, knows how to embed the truth sized as the immense universe in a few short lines.

It should also be noted that the thoughts of Garegin Nzhdeh so simply and beautifully laid out in the Armenian language, in the style inherent only to Garegin Nzhdeh, are very difficult to translate into other languages. You can only sum them up as much as possible. Or maybe I am wrong and not language-savvy enough. Judge for yourself.
