The memorial complex of Garegin Nzhdeh is located in the city of Kapan, Syunik Province, on the slope of Khustup.
In the center of the complex is a bust of the commander with a sword and a book in his hands. On the side, there are 4 eagles symbolizing his warriors. There also are a wheat ear – a symbol of the nation’s prosperity – a bell reminding about the struggle for the eternity of the nation, and a ball, a symbol of the Earth.
Visitors of the complex are accompanied by the famous aphorisms of Garegin Nzhdeh depicted on the stands.
The monument was erected in 2001 (sculptor Gevorg Gevorkyan, architect Robert Balyan).
