Armenia Uncovered by Kev Orkian

Armenia Uncovered by Kev OrkianRenowned British-Armenian musician, comedian, and actor Kev Orkian in cooperation with an Australian-Armenian journalist and producer Andy Symon shot a film about the beauty of Armenia. In the film, the director will be telling not only the story of Armenia itself but also its peoples. The film named “Armenia Uncovered” will be released in March 2018.

During their two-week tour in Armenia, Orkian and Symon traveled far and wide. “We drove from north to south, visited Khor Virap, Areni, Jermuk, Artsakh, Akhtala. We managed to fly a paraglider over Lake Sevan. We also paid a visit to Tsitsernakaberd [the Armenian Genocide memorial complex in Yerevan], attended several museums. We were treated with the dishes of Armenian cuisine. Simply put, we didn’t sit in one place,” said the director.

With the help of “Armenia Uncovered”, Orkian wishes to present the world with the most interesting and beautiful places in Armenia.

“I hope that my project will urge Armenians from other countries to arrive in Armenia and see its beauty with their eyes. And not only Armenians but other people as well.” Orkian also added that the film will be distributed through iTunes, Amazon, and social networks.

A trailer Orkian posted on his Facebook page tells what the documentary “Armenia Uncovered” will be about. The post has hit about 8,000 views.
