Catalan Writer Rodolfo del Hoyo About Books Telling And Providing Evidence Of The Armenian Genocide

Spanish writer Rodolfo del Hoyo from the Catalan city of Santa Coloma de Gramenet expressed solidarity with the Armenian people, joining the commemoration of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

The writer’s video was published on the Facebook page dedicated to the recognition of the genocide in Spain.

The Catalan prose writer spoke about three books that, in his words, “are evidence of the Armenian Genocide in 1915 in the Ottoman Empire.”

“The first book is ‘The Bastard of Istanbul’ by Turkish writer Elif Shafak. The author was persecuted in Turkey for this book.

The second is the book ‘Red Moon’ by Spanish writer Luis Leante, which tells about the tragic events that happened to the Armenians.

Finally, the third book is ‘The Forty Days of Musa Dagh’ by Austrian writer Franz Werfel, which tells the story of the confrontation between the Armenians of Musa Dagh and the Turks,” Rodolfo del Hoyo said.
