A unique natural phenomenon observed on Mount Ararat was recently met with numerous surprised and enthusiastic comments of Turkish witnesses.
Rusturkey.com that published the photo of the phenomenon writes: “A unique natural phenomenon was observed on the highest peak of Turkey on Mount Ararat. It looks like the mountain put on a hat made from clouds”.
The Mount Ararat, one of the symbols of Armenia, is currently located 28.5 km from the Turkish-Armenian border in the historical province of Tsolakert (Iğdır) in Western Armenia, which is now occupied by Turkey. With an altitude of 5,137 meters, Mount Ararat is the highest volcanic peak in the Armenian Highlands, as well as of modern Turkey.
