The Armenian people lived in the darkness of occupation, destruction, and bloodshed. Nzhdeh became the sun for his people. He gave the Armenians rays of hope and faith in struggle and victory. He gave the Armenian people a chance to build the future.
In moments of grief, despondency, and defeat for the Armenian people, Nzhdeh became the father of the nation. He served his people with his sword and pen. His strength of mind and heroic victories are still admired, and his work has brought up more than one generation of Armenians.
Each quote, every word of Nzhdeh carried strength, faith in victory, the will to fight, and of course, unlimited love for his people, for his family.
Even in the face of death, he has never forgotten about his people. “… Wherever and no matter how I die, believe, my precious people, that during an external danger, my restless soul will come to the aid of my native land and invisibly become the leader of its army.”
Eternal glory to Nzhdeh! May each of us improve every day and get closer and closer to Nzhdeh, the sun of our people.
