The Armenian Roots Of The British Royal Family

A post titled “Princess Diana’s Hidden Ancestral Secret Revealed” by talks about Indian-Armenian roots in the British Royal Family based on DNA analyses.

Eliza Kewark (possibly Kevorkian) is Prince William’s great-great-great-great-great-grandmother. The ABC News article doesn’t mention this, but Kewark is thought to have been an Armenian by father and Indian by mother.

Mary Roach, the maternal aunt of Princess Diana, in an interview with The Times said: “I always assumed that I was part-Armenian, so I am delighted that I also have an Indian background.”
