The Armenian Genocide Museum In Yerevan Is Among The Best Museums Of Asia

American travel portal TripAdvisor has compiled a list of the best museums in Asia based on visitor ratings. The Armenian Genocide Museum in Yerevan has entered the top 25 of the rating, occupying the 9th position.

The leaders of the ranking were the War Remnants Museum (Vietnam), the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh (Cambodia), and the Kin Terracotta Warrior Museum in Xi’an (China). Also included were museums from India, Taiwan, and Singapore.

The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute was opened in 1995 in the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex in Yerevan. Most of the materials collected by the museum are presented in print and multimedia forms. During its over 20 years of activity, the museum has received a huge number of visitors from around the world.
