In the city of Erciş (now occupied by Turkey) located on the northern shore of Lake Van, during a theatrical event in honor of the anniversary of the “liberation” of this Armenian province from its original inhabitants – Armenians – an eloquent incident occurred – a municipal employee playing an Armenian soldier was shot with combat bullets.
The severely wounded employee was taken to the intensive care unit of the regional hospital of Van. An investigation is underway.
