Unique Finds From Van Fortress – Historical Armenia

As a result of archaeological excavations in the historical Van fortress, Historical Armenia, and its environs, an entire sector of the fortress will be opened to visitors in an untouched condition.

The excavations of the ancient fortress in the territory of Historical Armenia are ongoing and are expected to provide important information about the social life of our ancestors.

It is quite possible that the fortress plot will portray how our ancestors have lived 3,000 years ago, with their everyday attributes, tonirs, and maybe even furniture.
