The Battle Of Karakilisa Is The Foundation Of The Armenian State – Garegin Nzhdeh

“Among the heroic victories of May 1918, the battle in Karakilisa was of exceptional importance. At the end of May 1918, I participated in the Karakilisa battle.

If not for this battle, there would be not only no Soviet Armenia but also no Armenian population on this earth.

Heroism in the three-day battle in Karakilias saved the Ararat Armenians from complete annihilation and laid the foundation for the Armenian state.”
