This map is from the collection of historical maps of David Rumsey, which is one of the largest in the world. This collection contains over 150,000 maps.

The collection was created by David Rumsey who is also the president of Cartography Associates. Currently, more than 55,000 digitized maps are available on his website, davidrumsey.com.

This map is called “Indoscythicum atque Parthicum Regna.” It was authored by German cartographer and scientist Karl Spruner von Merz (1803-1892) and German geographer Heinrich Theodor Menke (May 24, 1819 – May 14, 1892).
