Roman Goddess DIANA (right photo), spelled backwards, is ANAHIT, the Armenian Goddess.
Anahit is originally Armenian in nature and adopted by other cultures.
Etymologically, ‘Anahit’ is derived from the Armenian words ‘անհատ’ “anhat” and ‘անհատական’ “anhatakan” meaning “solitary, singular, and unique”.
No other direct etymological explanations exist in any other languages. Persian adaptation came later.
