The last word of Stepan Zatikyan – From a series of falsifications of the Soviet secret police

Inspired by one of the latest statements of Garegin Nzhdeh, addressed to an arrogant KGB worker:

“I spit on your execution. You must understand who you are dealing with.

I am Garegin Nzhdeh, a convinced enemy of Bolshevism, who has dedicated his life to fighting for the freedom and independence of his people.

I defended Zangezur from the Turks and Turk-Bolsheviks. Do you think I am afraid of your execution? Many have tried to scare me with it, but they have achieved nothing.”

This is a small excerpt from the memoirs of intelligence agent Vache Ovsepyan – “Garegin Nzhdeh and the KGB”.

However, Garegin Nzhdeh’s case is not the only falsification by the Soviet security forces, the goal of which was to kill one of the best sons of Armenia, Garegin Nzhdeh, thanks to whom modern Armenia exists.

Many other falsifications are known for the same purpose, and unfortunately with the same outcome. The list is very long among both well-known people of Armenia and those known only in narrow, family circles.

It is enough to remember just a few names to understand the sophisticated underlining and perverted goals of the Soviet security forces. For example, the poet Paruyr Sevak, brazenly killed in front of everyone, or the still unclear and unexplained death of the artist Minas Avetisyan, and many others.

Many such mysterious murders and deaths still occur today, proving that the Soviet imperial KGB, embodied by the Kremlin’s thugs, is still alive.

One of the high-profile falsifications by the Soviet security forces was the explosion in the Moscow metro in 1977. A hastily concocted case, which is described in detail in an article by former human rights defender Sergey Grigoryants published on one of the pages of the website (the link is provided here).

The last words of Stepan Zatikyan were said in a similar spirit to what was said earlier by Garegin Nzhdeh.

I suggest we listen to the words of Stepan Zatikyan, spoken in the late seventies, which are slowly but surely becoming prophetic: “……. so if there is trouble, the trouble will only be for you because we have nothing to lose…”
