According to Iran Front Page, this was stated by the Deputy Director of the State Organization for Cultural Heritage, Folk Crafts, and Tourism of Iran Hossein Talebian.
The Armenian Holy Savior Cathedral is located in the Armenian quarter of New Julfa in Isfahan in central Iran. Being the largest Armenian church in Iran, it was built in the 17th century. It is distinguished by the pronounced contrast of Christian and Muslim elements used both in the design of the building itself and in its external structure.
