The Deserved End Of The Organizers Of The Armenian Genocide

Talaat Pasha was the Minister of the Interior of the Ottoman Empire. He was located and shot in Berlin by Soghomon Tehlirian on March 15, 1921.

Djemal Pasha was the Minister of the Navy of the Ottoman Empire. He was located and shot in Tiflis by Petros-Ter Poghosyan and Artashes Gevorgyan on July 21, 1921.

Enver Pasha was the Minister of War of the Ottoman Empire. He was located and beheaded in Chaghan by Hakob Melkumyan on August 4, 1922.

Said Halim was the Prime Minister of the Ottoman Empire. He was located and shot in Rome by Arshavir Shirakyan on December 6, 1921.

Behaeddin Shakir was one of the leaders of the Young Turks of the Ottoman Empire and the leader of a special detachment. He was located and shot dead in Berlin by Aram Yerkanyan on April 17, 1922.

Cemal Azmi was the Governor of Trebizond and a member of the Young Turk Party. He was located and shot in Berlin by Arshavir Shirakyan on April 17, 1922.

The operation to eliminate the organizers of the Armenian Genocide was codenamed “Nemesis”. The assassination list consisted of more than 40 individuals who were sentenced to death by the Armenian Revolutionary Party Dashnaktsutyun.

During the operation, several Armenians – known accomplices of the Turks – were assassinated as well. They were as follows.

Mkrtich Harutyunyan was a member of the political branch of the Turkish secret police. Shot by Soghomon Teylerian.

Vahe Ihsan (Yesayan) helped compile lists of prominent Armenians for deportation in April 1915. Killed by Arshavir Shirakyan.

Hmayak Aramyants, a former member of the Hunchak party, collaborated with the Turkish police. Killed by Arshak Yazdanyan.

In addition, two organizers of Armenian pogroms in Azerbaijan were assassinated during the operation.

One was Fatali Khan Khoisky, the first Prime Minister of Azerbaijan. He was located and shot in Tiflis by Aram Yerkanyan and Misak Grigoryan on May 26, 1918.

The other one was Hasan bey Aghaev, Deputy Chairman of the parliament of Azerbaijan. He was located and shot in Tiflis by a member of the Dashnaktsutyun party on July 19, 1920.
