According to a Turkish source, the leadership of the Arab country is personally calling its citizens who have bought houses in Turkey and urges them to sell them. According to the Turkish Statistical Service, after Iraqis, the largest number of foreigners buying apartments in Turkey are Saudi Arabians. Over the past 5 years, 122,000 houses have been sold to foreigners in Turkey. 10.3% of buyers (10,653) are Saudis.

It is noted that the internal intelligence of Saudi Arabia began to track money transfers abroad, imposing fines on those who transfer more than 100 thousand dollars to Turkey. According to the Turkish side, the Saudi secret service is putting pressure on its businessmen who have trade relations with Turkey, forcing them to abandon them.
