The Arbitration decision of Woodrow Wilson

On 22 November 1920, the Arbitration decision of Woodrow Wilson was made. The text of the Arbitration Decision, which included detailed maps and other documents, was signed by the President of the United States on November 22, 1920, and already on December 6, 1920, President Woodrow Wilson signed and certified with the state seal of Arbitration the decision on the Armenian-Turkey border.

That is, since November 22, 1920, The arbitration decision has come into force.

From this day, Turkish rights and titles to the provinces of Van, Baghesh, Karin, and Trapezund, forming part of the former Ottoman Empire (total of 103,599 sq. km), the rights and title of the Republic of Armenia were canceled and de jure were recognized.

This area is much smaller than the one that should have been part of Armenia according to the 24 points of the Mudross Truce. Such a reduction in the territories that were to return to Armenia was because at that time the Armenian population of Western Armenia had already been practically annihilated.
