Seven Pro-Turkish Militants In Syria Surrendered To Kurdish Forces Out Of Fear Of Being Sent To Artsakh

Seven members of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SDF) have surrendered to the pro-Kurdish bloc of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Ras al-Ayn (Sere Kaniye) region of northern Syria. This was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR).

It is noted that the militants of the “Syrian National Army” group surrendered to the Kurdish forces out of fear that they would be sent to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and not paid their salaries.

Pro-Turkish militants have been reportedly performing military service in the village of Abu Rasin in Ras al-Ayn.

Earlier, SOHR reported that on October 21, eight members of the “Syrian National Army” surrendered to the pro-Kurdish bloc “Syrian Democratic Forces”.
