Léon Nafilyan is a French architect of Armenian origin born in Constantinople in 1877 and died in Nice in 1937.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, he carried out his activities mainly in France and Egypt, but also in Turkey, Armenia, Syria, Lebanon, and Ethiopia.
Although he was mainly oriented toward domestic architecture in the second half of his career, he was the author of many churches for the Armenian communities of France, Egypt, and Ethiopia.
He is also the architect of the House of Armenian Students at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.
