Since midday, the guests enjoyed live music, folk dances, the Armenian cuisine, participated in interactive plays, chess games, visited various thematic exhibitions, shows, participated in readings, a mini football tournament was organized for schoolchildren. Not only Armenians gathered in Palermo: the festival interested both local residents and numerous tourists.
A concert was performed by singers Grigor Mirzoyan, Arman Gasparyan, several groups of Armenian folk dances Masis, Gayane, Nairi, Narekatsi, Nor Araks, violinist Aida Simonyan, and other artists, who received a hearty response from the public.
Speaking about the atmosphere that surrounded the festival, the photos of its participants and guests speak eloquently. The event was a part of the “Buenos Aires Celebra” program designed to honor the communities living in Argentina and develop intercultural ties.
