Armenians and Han Chinese are Genetic Relatives – Genetic Atlas

Back when the Silk Road was a significant trade route, the Armenians invested their genetic capital in the current Han Chinese population.

The genome of modern Han people shows that they at some point interbred with the ancestors of modern Armenians much more than with the Japanese. About 4% of their genes identify them with the Armenians, which is quite much.

This is evidenced by the largest and most complete map of migration and mixing of peoples, which is based on the study of genotypes presented by the Max Planck German Society and Oxford scientist Garret Gellenthal.

The so-called genogeography traces interethnic and interracial mixing on the basis of analyses of small mutations that accumulate in generations. It has already presented us with more than one surprise.

So, it was these methods that established that all of humanity came from a small group of ancestors in Uganda. It was proven that the whole native population of America are the descendants of the Altai peoples who migrated there about 12-15 thousand years ago through the isthmus between Eurasia and North America, which is now known as the Bering Strait.

The results of the new studies may lead to changes in textbooks. According to this map, about 1300 BC, a group of peoples, who mostly consisted of populations of Poland, East Germany, the Baltic countries, and southern Finland, migrated to the north-western regions of Europe, frequently interbreeding with the each other.

It took 30-40 generations for the different branches of the Finno-Ugric to start interbreeding. Thus, they became the nucleus of the Russian people.

The second important event for the Russian people, according to this map, took place around 1100 BC. More varied crossbreeding began, which would then appear in the genome of modern humans.

The ancestors of today’s Belarusians interbreed with the Altai peoples, who then began to migrate to Russia. Interestingly, they have not been Mongol-Tatars because they almost did not interbreed with the Russians at that time. This means that the idea of Mongol-Tatars invading Russia and taking away their women in the past (which would surely cause mixing) is not true.

The Mongols actively participated in the creation of the genetic capital of the Chinese, Uzbeks, Khazars, Yakuts, Japanese, Turks, and Lezgins.

Mongolian Tatar yoke was not, and the Armenians are relatives of the Chinese
