The story of Father Crespi

The story of Father Crespi is one of the most fascinating stories ever told about a mysterious civilization, gold artifacts and symbols belonging to an unknown language, and strange representations that connect Sumeria to America.

Father Carlo Crespi was born in Milan in 1891 and died in 1982. He was a Salesian missionary in the small town of Cuenca, Ecuador, dedicating his life to worship, works of charity, and working as an educator, botanist, and anthropologist. In 1927 he took a trip to the Ecuadorian Amazonian jungle to live side by side with the indigenous people of the Jibaro tribe who eventually began to consider him a true friend of their people.

Over the decades they gave him hundreds of archaeological artifacts dating back to an unknown era explaining that they were objects found in a very deep cave called Cueva de Los Tayos located in the Amazon region known as Morona Santiago.

The cave, which is about 800 meters above sea level was called Tayos because it housed a race of nearly blind birds in its depths. Many of the artifacts were in gold carved with hieroglyphs of an unknown language that no one has ever been able to decipher.

Father Crespi, a man of a certain culture thought that the archaic hieroglyphic signs were the mother tongue that humanity spoke before the flood in Eden (Armenia), suggesting that there was a connection between cultures that developed on opposite sides of the planet.

By 1960 the collection of artifacts had become so numerous that Father Crespi asked the Vatican for authorization to create a museum in the Salesian mission in Cuenca. The museum was the largest ever created in Ecuador until 1962 when a mysterious fire destroyed the premises, and most of the artifacts displayed and preserved there were lost.

Father Crespi managed to save some artifacts that he hid in a place kept secret in the jungle to continue studying them. He was convinced that the gold plates undoubtedly indicated contact between Sumerian civilizations before the universal flood and the civilizations that had developed in the New World (Americas). Father Crespi said that the Cueva de Los Tayos was bottomless and that the thousands of underground branches were not natural but built by man in the past and connected the cave to a large underground pyramid from which most of the finds that the natives gave him came from.

The pyramid, for fear of future looting, was entirely buried with earth by the natives so that no one could ever find it again. This story was spread in academic and esoteric circles and various researchers found themselves in agreement with the conclusions drawn by Father Crespi. One of the artifacts was a large gold crown designed for a head/skull that was almost double the size of humans living today.

It may just be a coincidence, but the Aztecs used to call the ancient giant civilizations living in America the ‘QUINAMETZIN’. As we all know, the word METZ means ‘Big’ or ‘Large’ in Armenian as well. METZIN would mean “belonging to the large” or “of the bigger or larger”.
