Participation of Armenians in the Battle of Grunwald

Together with the Slavs (Poles, Rusyns) and Lithuanians, against the Germans – “Teutonic dogs” – two Armenian cavalry regiments fought heroically – the Armed Forces of the Armenians of Galicia.

In the photo, a kneeling direct descendant of the commander of the Armenian regiment from Lutsk, Count Domantovich.

Armenians also fought in the battle of Vienna – 1683

Together with the Polish and Ruthenian hussars, the cavalry of the Armenians of Lvov fought heroically – 5 thousand horsemen.
