The Cathedral of St. Paddeus-Bartholomew in Baku

The year 1912 … The Cathedral of St. Paddeus-Bartholomew in Baku was a monument to the Armenian Apostolic Church in Baku. Architect : Owanes Kajaznuni.

It was decided to be demolished in the 1930s. According to eyewitnesses, it was demolished for three years, but it did not collapse.

Finally, the church was blown up in 1937. A building of the Baku Conservatory was built on the site of the church. (C)
