On February 8, the Mexican Senate adopted a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide, emphasizing the need to respect human rights.
At the same time, the Senate calls on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico to facilitate the official recognition of the genocide by the Mexican government.
