Paris Herouni, The Great Armenian

Paris Herouni, Was a Soviet and Armenian physicist and engineer. He was a member of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences in the fields of radio-physics, and the head of the Antenna Systems chair, which he founded, at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia and Radio Physics Research Institute (RRI). In 1986, he was awarded the USSR State Prize.

Among other achievements, the scientific and technical legacy of Herouni includes the Arev solar power project and the radio-optical telescope, which combines the functions of astronomical and radar telescopes to produce more precise data.

Heruni talked a lot about the origin of the Armenians, the knowledge they gave to the world, our writing, and about always establishing several civilizations in different parts of the planet. And finally, he always insisted that everything started here, in the Armenian highlands. Those Armenoids gave everything to the world. Those same Armenoids are our ancestors.
