The Forced Islamization Of Armenian Orphans During The Years Of The Genocide

Many orphans were converted to Islam during the 1915 Armenian Genocide, as testified by archival documents about the actions of Talaat, Enver, and Jemal Pasha.

The violent Islamization of Armenian orphans is also considered genocide. This is how Ruben Melkonyan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, describes it (in Armenian).
