Armenian Parade in WashingtonOn April 14, 1920, the Armenian delegation comprising of 500 veterans of World War I in their service uniform marched through Washington, headed by the United States Marine Band.

The Armenian delegation was received by the then Secretary of State of the United States Bainbridge Colby who was presented with the petition requesting the US to recognize the First Republic of Armenia.
