Monastery of St. Christopher – Talin – Armenia

Two kilometers south of the village of Dashtadem (Nerkin Talin, Aragatsotn) and the fortress, on the territory of historical Kakheni, there is a 7th century church and an unusual bell tower (13th century).

On the same site, there is a cemetery with burials dating from the 6th century and a ruined fence. Judging by the traces, there were buildings which have not survived to this day.

Once it was the monastery of St. Christopher (Սուրբ Քրիստափորի վանք). Here you can see examples of early khachkars from the 9th century.
