We present to your attention a unique photo depicting the official delegation of the First Republic of Armenia to the United States in 1919.

In the bottom row, from left to right are Minister of Finance Artashes Enfiajian, Prince, General, and later Armenian Ambassador to the UK Hakob Bagratuni, Prime Minister Hovhannes Kajaznuni, Commander Andranik Ozanyan, and Member of the Armenian Parliament Professor Abraham Ter-Hakobian.

In the top row, from left to right are Harutyun (Artyom) Piralian, member of the delegation for agriculture Mikael Ter-Poghosian, military representative captain Suren Melikian, Armenian Ambassador to the US Garegin Pastermadjian, and head of the military delegation Colonel Hayk Bonapartian.

The delegation of the young independent republic overcrowded with refugees and in the most difficult conditions was able to resolve the issue of food, bringing from the US 46,8 million pounds of flour, a large amount of grain, and canned goods.
