They were called the Chachapoyas. I remember watching a documentary about them a decade ago on the History Channel called ‘Chachapoyas – The people of the clouds.
In this documentary scientists from Erasmus University conducted some genetic studies after excavating what they believed were their tombs in Peru, and they found that the Chachapoyas belonged to the R1B genetic haplogroup which is the haplogroup of most Western and Southern Europeans, and especially the Armenians.
Another researcher named Brien Foerster revealed similar results after studying the Paracas skulls from Peru (Elongated long skulls belonging to the Nephilim). He said they were originally from the Black Sea region in Northern Armenia. Extraordinary indeed.
